Four steps, worked in order, on every color service. Not a trend to chase and not a technique to copy. A process you understand and can repeat on your very next client.
What it is
Designed by Depth is a one-day, in-person color experience created for hairstylists who want to stop freezing when a client hands them an inspiration photo.
Instead of copying a look and hoping it works on your client, this class teaches you a system. You learn how to read what is actually creating that lived-in effect, how to read the woman in your chair, and how to build a color blueprint before you ever pick up a brush.
This is education through structure, not guesswork.
What it is not
The day
You watch all of it come to life through two full live transformations, one blonde and one brunette, using O&M color from start to finish.
Understand what is actually creating that lived-in effect, specifically how much depth is left behind.
Contrast and undertone, using simple tools you already have in your salon.
Whether a look actually serves her features and her lifestyle, before you agree to it.
The whole plan, mapped out before you pick up a brush.
The full framework, start to finish, so the conversation stops being guesswork.
What you leave with
You will leave with a system that is yours. In control of your artistry again, clear instead of stuck behind the chair, and confident in the decisions you make on every client.
A note from Joanna
This class started with something I kept seeing.
A client sits down, pulls up an inspiration photo, and we freeze. We either copy it exactly and hope, or we second-guess the whole service from the moment we pick up the brush.
It was never about talent. No one taught us how to break it down.
So I built the system I wished I had behind the chair. A way to read any photo, read any client, and design the version that actually belongs on her.
