Her New Era, Education

Learn the craft
and the numbers.

Most education in this industry teaches you a technique to copy. Joanna teaches frameworks you own, for the hair and for the business behind it.

How Joanna teaches

Both programs are built the same way, which is why they belong on the same shelf.

01

Structure is not the enemy of creativity.

Structure is what makes creativity consistent. A framework you understand beats a technique you copied, because it works on the next client too.

02

Craft and business are the same subject.

You are the business. What you charge and how you work behind the chair are not two separate problems, and teaching them separately is why neither one gets solved.

03

You should own what you learn.

Not a look to recreate and not a formula to plug into. A process you can explain, defend, and adjust as your business changes.

04

Honest, even when it is uncomfortable.

If the timing is wrong for you, we say so. If the numbers are worse than you thought, we look at them anyway. That is the whole point.

Two programs

01 · Color

The Depth Method

See. Shape. Design. Execute.

A complete color framework built around how light and depth actually work in hair. Taught in person over one day with two live model transformations, so you stop guessing at inspiration photos and start designing.

02 · Business

HER Pricing System

Pricing built for real life behind the chair.

Personal expenses, business expenses, taxes, time off, and profit, built into one sustainable price. Five weeks, one to one with Joanna, built on your actual numbers instead of what the salon down the street charges.

Which one first

Most stylists start with the hair.

There is no required order, but there is a common one. Most stylists come for the color work, because that is what they love and that is what they think about all day.

The pricing work usually comes later, once the craft feels solid and the money still does not. That is the point where HPS does the most good, and it is why Joanna will tell you honestly on a call if the timing is not right yet.

Take whichever one answers the thing that is actually in your way.
